Scope and Aim of the Journal

1. Scope and Aim

The International Journal of Psychology (IJP) publishes original, high-quality research articles, reviews, and theoretical papers covering all areas of psychology. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

• Cognitive, developmental, and social psychology
• Clinical and counseling psychology
• Educational and organizational psychology
• Health and neuropsychology
• Cross-cultural and comparative studies
• Psychological assessment and methodology

The journal aims to advance psychological science and promote global dialogue in psychology research.

2. Manuscript Types

IJP accepts the following types of manuscripts:

• Original Research Articles – Empirical studies with clear methodology and analysis (5,000–8,000 words).
• Review Articles – Comprehensive reviews of current knowledge (up to 10,000 words).
• Short Communications – Brief reports of new findings (2,000–3,500 words).
• Case Studies – Analyses of individual or group cases with theoretical implications (2,500–4,000 words).
• Theoretical Papers – Conceptual or model-based contributions (up to 8,000 words).

3. Submission Guidelines

All submissions must be made through the online submission system. Manuscripts must be written in English and submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

The cover letter should include:

• The title of the paper
• The manuscript type
• A statement confirming originality and exclusivity (not under review elsewhere).

4. Manuscript Preparation

4.1 Format

• Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
• Use 1-inch margins on all sides.
• Number all pages consecutively and include line numbers for review.

• Conclusion and Acknowledgments (if any)

Follow APA 7th Edition citation style.
