Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Psychology (IJP) is committed to ensuring the highest academic and ethical standards in the research it publishes. To achieve this, all submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential.

The International Journal of Psychological Sciences

The International Journal of Psychology (IJP) follows a double-blind peer review system to ensure fairness and academic integrity. All submitted manuscripts first undergo an editorial screening to confirm alignment with the journal’s scope, originality, and ethical standards. Submissions that meet these requirements are then sent for external review. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent experts with relevant subject expertise. Reviewers assess the originality of the research, the rigor of the methods, the clarity of the writing, and its contribution to the field of psychology. They provide constructive feedback to help authors strengthen their work, along with a recommendation to the editor. Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes a decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Revised papers may be re-evaluated before a final outcome is reached. The journal aims to provide authors with an initial decision within 6–8 weeks, ensuring a review process that is both rigorous and efficient.
